IJB report on lead levels in school and daycare drinking water makes headlines across province

On June 6, the Investigative Journalism Bureau published a groundbreaking report exposing toxic lead in Ontario school and daycare drinking water, highlighting growing concern about serious health risk.

In collaboration with the University of Toronto’s HIVE Lab, the IJB also developed an interactive database that allows you to check lead test results for Ontario schools and daycares between 2019 and 2023.
